Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island seeks a Part-Time Patient Transporter to move patients safely between units using a wheelchair, stretcher or bed, in accordance with policy.

Requires a High school diploma or GED and 2–5 years of patient care experience preferred. The role involves lifting and moving patients, documenting transport details, and responding to alerts to support ED, OR holds and disaster response. Shift: Days with weekends and holidays.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years experience in patient care preferred.
• Must be able to interact positively with patients and hospital personnel.

Responsabilidades

• Move patients safely between units using wheelchair, stretcher or bed per policies and procedures.
• Respond to alerts to prevent ED diversion, OR holds, and PACU holds; assist with disasters as directed.
