Richmond University Medical Center in New York is seeking a Patient Transporter responsible for the safe and efficient movement of patients to and from clinical units, using a wheelchair, stretcher or bed. This full-time day-shift role requires a high school diploma and 2-5 years of patient care experience, with the ability to record transport data and lift patients. Salary range $25.135/hr - $26.462/hr.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years experience in patient care preferred.
• Able to interact positively with patients and hospital personnel.
• Able to accurately record information in transport software and write legibly.
• Able to hear, comprehend and follow directions.
• Capable of lifting and moving patients.

Mansioni

• Move patients to and from clinical units via wheelchair, stretcher or bed.
• Assist with movement to diagnostic and treatment areas.
• Respond to alerts to prevent ED diversion, OR holds and PACU holds.
• Assist with disasters as directed.
