Responsibilities

• Communicates destination, needs for blankets, and elevator delays to patients.
• Wear assigned transport uniform; ID clearly visible at all times.
• During low volume, checks the system for pending calls and completes jobs at destination.
• Documents transport data in the transporter log sheet with double ID verification.
• During transport: performs equipment checks and correct patient identification.
