Virtua Health seeks a Tele Sitter Technician to provide continuous observation and support for patients in a hospital setting. The role focuses on preventing at-risk behaviors, relaying alerts to nursing staff, and maintaining professional ethics in patient care.

The position requires 1 year of hospital experience and a high school diploma or GED, with Observer course and BLS training preferred. The salary range is hourly and benefits are offered to eligible staff.

Formación

• Required Experience: 1-year previous experience in a hospital environment required.
• 1-year direct patient care experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Always maintains visual observation of patients.
• Verbally redirects patient over digital 2-way audio device in patient room.
• Immediately alerts the nursing staff if the patient requires assistance.
• Executes safe work practices and follows safety rules as part of the care team.
• Participates in hand-off of pertinent information at shift changes and learns tele-sitter software.
