Responsibilities

• Ensure patients have access to insurance and social service programs for which they are eligible.
• Provide patient reminders of upcoming appointments and act as liaison between patients and providers.
• Identify and resolve barriers to care and educate counsels patients on health and life issues.
• Maintain current knowledge of community health resources and programs available to patients.
• Handle patient communications and coordinate with healthcare facilities for medical records and follow-ups.
• Prepare, track, and process medical records and pathology specimens; maintain confidentiality of records.
• Provide administrative support by answering phones, addressing inquiries, and handling records securely.
• Adhere to University policies and safeguard assets.
