Job summary

City of Hope is seeking a patient-facing Food Service Aide to deliver meals to patients across our campus. This part-time role requires 4–6 hour shifts, 3-4 days per week, with weekend availability.

You will assist in setup, serving, and cleanup, ensuring high sanitation standards and patient-focused service. Responsibilities include stocking, operating basic kitchen equipment, and maintaining clean work areas.

Qualifications

• Hospital food service experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of equipment operation and basic cash-handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and serving of food from counters and steam tables.
• Clean and sanitize work stations and equipment; maintain kitchen areas and utensils.
• Restock supplies as needed and assist with trays and distribution to patients.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines; attend training as required.
