Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Uptown in Dallas is hiring a full-time Patient Care Technician for the Post Surgical Unit on day shift, 7a-7p. You will assist patients with activities of daily living under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

This role requires CPR certification and clinical experience preferred; training in aseptic technique, venipuncture, and EKG is a plus. The ideal candidate maintains safety, infection control, and quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification required.
• Clinical experience preferred.
• Follow established cleaning methods and maintain equipment.
• Venipuncture and EKG experience beneficial.
• Knowledge of patient care charts and histories.
• Aseptic technique understanding.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Provide basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment under RN supervision.
• Follow established protocols for patient care and documentation.
