Qualifications

• Education: first semester in an accredited nursing program or completion of a medical assistant/PCT program.
• Certifications may substitute for education: CCA, CMA, RMA, CNA, EMT.
• Current license/certification to practice in Kansas; substitute allowed.
• First Responder - RQI required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team to promote health and wellness.
• Communicate pertinent patient data to staff in a timely manner.
• Assist with activities of daily living and document vitals.
• Promote infection prevention and standard precautions.
• Deliver care guided by caring theory and ethics.
