Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Grapevine is seeking a Patient Care Technician - Health Unit Coordinator for part‑time days. The role involves clerical and patient care tasks under a licensed nurse's supervision, including vital signs, data entry, and coordinating unit communications.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year of experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care tasks under licensed nurse supervision.
• Record patient data, vital signs, and observations; maintain accurate records.
• Greet visitors, answer phones, and coordinate unit communications.
• Assist with daily activities and transport of patients as needed.
• Maintain unit cleanliness, supply inventory, and patient care equipment.
