Qualifications

• Education: HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience: Less than 1 year.
• Certification/License: BLS required or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Collects and records patient data and vital signs; reports to nursing team promptly.
• Assists with daily patient activities such as hygiene, dressing, eating, and mobility.
• Maintains unit records, charts, and reference documents; supports telecommunication and paging.
• Greets visitors, answers calls, and routes requests to nursing staff.
• Performs light non-medical tasks and transports supplies and patients as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness of patient areas and supplies; attends in-services and meetings.
