Job summary

Intermountain Health Alta View Hospital in Sandy, UT is seeking Part-time Patient Care Technicians (PCT) to support the patient care team on medical-surgical units.

Responsibilities include basic patient care, telemetry support, and potential health unit coordination, with shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends. CNA/BLS credentials required, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and deliver basic patient care, including toileting, bathing, linen changes, and comfort measures.
• Report and document patient care findings promptly; alert RN to changes in condition.
• Assist with telemetry and patient monitoring as required on the unit.
• Transport medications to the RN and collaborate with the care team.
• May perform Health Unit Coordinator duties like phones, orders, and unit records.
