Penn Medicine in Lancaster, PA is seeking a part-time, 0.6 FTE (24 hours per week) position to assist with the delivery of direct, non-licensed patient care under supervision.

The role covers environment, supply, patient care and safety tasks, with emphasis on accurate documentation and compassionate patient support. Candidates should have a HS diploma, CPR/BLS within 30 days, and strong teamwork and communication skills. We offer a supportive team and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent (GED).
• AHA CPR/BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills.
• Ability to work under supervision and follow established procedures.

Responsabilités

• Assist with direct patient care under supervision and guidance.
• Document accurately and timely according to unit standards.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and comfort measures.
• Aid with admission, transfer and discharge procedures.
• Respond promptly to patient call lights and communicate concerns to RN.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized patient and public areas.
• Support 1:1 observation when required.
