Penn Medicine in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Part Time 0.6 FTE (24 hours/week) patient care support staff to assist with non-licensed patient care under supervision. The role emphasizes safe environments, accurate documentation, and effective communication with the care team.

Responsibilities include managing supplies, scheduling-related tasks, helping with activities of daily living, and supporting admission, transfer, and discharge processes.

Formación

• HS diploma or GED.
• Completion of the educational requirements (yearly competency evaluation and training).
• AHA CPR/BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with the delivery of direct, non-licensed patient care under supervision.
• Environment Management – cleaning, equipment maintenance, and safety per unit standards.
• Supply Management/Clerical – order, stock, and distribute supplies; demonstrate computer skills.
• Patient Care/Safety – document accurately, monitor patients, assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Code of Conduct/Professionalism – maintain confidentiality and respond to requests promptly.
• Clinical Skills – perform unit-specific tasks and report changes to the RN as needed.
• Secondary functions – participate in on-call responsibilities and other duties.

Educación
