Job summary

UF Health is seeking a Part-time Patient Care Assistant to provide direct patient care under a Registered Nurse. This role supports safe, patient-centered care and maintains a clean, orderly environment while delivering service excellence to patients and families.

Shift is 24 hours per week, 7:00pm–7:00am, seven days a week. Candidates must pass an AHCA Level 2 background screening and hold a High School Diploma or GED; BLS certification and unit-specific CPI training are required during

Qualifications

• Demonstrates teamwork and communicates in a professional manner with all of the healthcare team.
• Demonstrates the ability to learn and apply hospital computer technologies and procedures that affect patient care delivery.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and standard precautions; ability to read/write in English.
