Job summary

Chicago ENT is seeking a Part-time Call Center Patient Care Coordinator to manage inbound scheduling and patient communication across our ENT, Sleep, Imaging and related departments.

You will handle high volumes of calls, online scheduling, referrals, and EMR data entry, coordinating with providers to ensure timely, accurate access to care. The position reports to the Call Center Lead and requires Monday–Wednesday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM at Halsted, with travel to affiliated locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work within an EMR database and navigate through a Windows environment required.
• Must be able to type a minimum of 30 words per minute with 90% or greater accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Meet established Call Center performance standards, including average hold time and first-contact resolution.
• Schedule and register patients for a wide range of appointments across multiple departments.
• Ensure accurate entry of demographic, insurance, and appointment information into the EMR.
• Respond promptly to patient, provider, and staff inquiries via phone, web, SMS, and EHR messaging.
• Monitor and complete tasks in the User, Scheduler queue and review appointments for accuracy.
