Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA within one year of hire.
• Entry level with at least one year of customer service experience; patient access preferred.
• Nice to have: medical terminology and knowledge of insurance verification.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient-focused registration and insurance verification.
• Collects patient payments and verifies eligibility and payor requirements.
• Provides general information to patients, families, and physician offices.
• Researches, collects and analyzes information; identifies opportunities and solutions.
• Documents and distributes analytical reports and supports performance improvement activities.
• Uses multiple system applications to create reports and educational materials while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
