R1 RCM Inc. is seeking a Part Time Patient Registration Representative at Ascension IL Alexian Brothers Elk Grove Village to be the friendly first face patients meet when they check in.

You’ll help patients navigate the registration process, gather information, answer questions with compassion, and work across systems. Training provided; minimum 48 hours per month, 24 hours on call; this role offers growth in healthcare within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong customer service experience.
• Ability to pass background check, drug test, and vaccination requirements.
• Preferred Medical or healthcare experience (but not required!)

Responsibilities

• Register patients across multiple computer systems to complete the registration process.
• Answer phones and gather information quickly and accurately.
• Assist patients who may be ill, anxious, or confused.
• Navigate diverse insurance plans and coverage details (with training!).
• Adapt to interruptions from clinical teams during urgent care situations.
• Build rapport and ease patient concerns in real time.
