Columbus State Community College in Columbus, Ohio, seeks a Pastry Cook to join the culinary team and prepare food for Blend Cafe + Bakery, catering, and Mitchell Hall events.

You will follow recipes and ServSafe standards to ensure quality and timely production of baked goods, sauces, salads, sandwiches and soups, while keeping workspaces clean.

This part-time role is 20 hours per week at $18 per hour, offering an opportunity to work with students and staff to deliver a great dining experience.

Competenze

• One year of baking and pastry experience or completion of the CSCC Capstone Program.
• State Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to access work site.

Mansioni

• Prepares food using proper techniques in accordance with menu specifications.
• Produces all food including baked goods, sauces, soups, sandwiches and salads per menu specifications.
• Maintains cleanliness of stations, coolers, freezers, and storage areas; ensures equipment is clean and in proper operating condition.
• Works with culinary team to create a positive dining experience for cafe and catering guests.
• Supports student interns and student employees.
