Michaels is hiring a Part-time Party and Event Host in Midvale, UT. You will plan and coordinate events within the Michaels store, including children’s birthday parties, to deliver a fun, engaging guest experience. Responsibilities include assisting customers, supporting checkout, and executing event activities with creativity and care.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, nonverbal) and listening abilities.
• Organizational, interpersonal and creative problem-solving skills.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Plan and coordinate multiple events (including children’s birthday parties and craft classes).
• Engage with guests of all ages to create a fun and engaging environment.
• Demonstrate and instruct party activities; assist with face painting and other activities.
• Coordinate add-ons (goody bags, balloons) and communicate plans to clients and store team.
• Assist with in-store operations: checkout, bagging, and product assistance.
• Ensure events align with store standards and safety guidelines.
