Job summary

SP+ is seeking a Maintenance Porter in Fort Lauderdale, FL for part-time work at a busy facility. The role involves cleaning, basic maintenance, and customer interaction in a dynamic parking environment.

Responsibilities include daily garage walks, trash removal, painting, bulb replacement, spill management, and coordinating repairs with the Facility Manager. A valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license may be required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks per checklists to keep the facility clean.
• Walk the garage daily to identify and address maintenance issues.
• Sweep, clean surfaces, entrances, exits, and restrooms; maintain cleanliness of all areas.
• Empty all trashcans in garage, booth, and office.
• Paint as directed to keep surfaces neat and presentable.
• Replace burned out bulbs; address spills and leaks.
• Submit repair or maintenance requests to the Facility Manager.
• Check safety items and gate operations for proper function.
• Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies and keep sweep sheets.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as sweepers and lawn equipment.
• Assist customers and provide service as needed; handle complaints.
