Qualifications

At least 20 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
State Paramedic License is required.
State Driver’s License is required.
BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic (SC & AL) certifications preferred.
Clean driving record in company policy.
Pass Physical Agility Test.
Healthcare work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess each call to determine the best action per Paramedic protocols.
Provide advanced medical care using defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and IV fluids.
Document patient information and maintain confidentiality.
Communicate with patients and family to explain care.
Lead the Paramedic team and manage scene and unit as needed.
Drive the ambulance on emergency responses.
Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
