Job summary

You will assess calls, operate defibrillator/EKG equipment, administer IV fluids, and lead scenes while coordinating with public safety teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State Paramedic License required.
• State Driver’s License required.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine best action using Paramedic protocols.
• Operate medical equipment to provide advanced care and documentation.
• Communicate with patients and family to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Engage in community programs to support AMR image and relations.
