Job summary

AMR is hiring Paramedics for a part-time position, delivering compassionate, high-quality emergency medical care and patient relocation services. The role requires state licensure and active certifications (BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic).

You will assess calls, provide advanced care, lead scenes, and drive ambulances on 911 responses. Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma or GED, a valid state paramedic license, and a clean driving record, with healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• State Paramedic License is required.
• State Driver’s License is required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certifications.
• Driving record must meet policy standards.
• Pass a Physical Agility Test.
• Some healthcare work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine the best course of action per Paramedic protocols.
• Provide advanced medical care using defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Lead the Paramedic team and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Respond to 911 calls and drive the ambulance.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
