AMR in Texas is seeking highly motivated Paramedics for a full-time opportunity. You will deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care on scene and during transport, following progressive paramedic protocols.

Responsibilities include operating defibrillators and monitoring equipment, leading scene management, driving ambulances on 911 calls, and collaborating with public safety personnel and community programs. Equal opportunity employer, benefits available.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • State Paramedic License is required.
  • State Driver's License is required.
  • BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications are required.
  • Driving record must comply with company policy.
  • Pass Physical Agility Test.
  • Some healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action.
  • Utilize Paramedic skills on defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, and IV fluids.
  • Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and reassurance.
  • Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
  • Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
  • Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
  • Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image.
