Washakie County School Dst 1 is seeking a paraeducator (Title I) to support certified staff and students up to 29 hours per week. The role emphasizes literacy and core subjects in alignment with Wyoming standards and English learner goals.

You will reinforce reading and math, work in small groups, assist with assessments, and help prepare instructional materials while maintaining a safe classroom and collaborative environment. Travel between schools may be required.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of college level coursework or passing of examination as required.
• Prior experience working with children is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Assists students to reinforce reading, language arts, mathematics, and other skills.
• Works with students individually or in small groups.
• Assists in administration and correction of classroom exercises and tests.
• Assists with instructional material preparation and reinforcement.
• Keeps records documenting student learning and performance.
• Supports classroom behavioral management for a safe, orderly environment.
• Supervises non-instructional areas on a limited basis (lunch, bus, playground).
• Follows safety rules and procedures.
