Job summary

Public Health Management Corporation (PHMC) seeks a Part-Time Operations Coordinator for the Food and Wellness Network (FAWN) at Turning Points for Children to manage pantry operations, food purchases, and client intake data.

You will coordinate volunteers, assist with deliveries, maintain records, and support program partnerships, reporting to the FAWN Program Director. This on-site role requires strong organization and people skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Two years of experience related to hunger relief, food services, or social services are required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and coordinate volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Manages on-site operations for FAWN pantries and liaises with site contacts.
• Orders food weekly, accepts deliveries, and assists with restocking supplies.
• Coordinates the packing of bags for other Turning Points programs and partners.
• Collects intake data, determines eligibility, and schedules pantry appointments.
• Greets clients during distribution hours and ensures intake completion.
• Records data for FAWN (food purchased, donations, households served, etc.).
• Arranges deliveries of in-kind donations and sorts donations for distribution.
• Recruits and coordinates volunteers; orients new volunteers to policies.
• Develops social media content and supports partnerships with institutions.
• Supports the Case Management program where needed.
