Job summary

Sherwin-Williams Store #7641 in Waunakee, WI is seeking a Part-Time Customer Service Specialist. You will assist wholesale and retail customers, answer questions about products, recommend solutions, resolve concerns, and help maintain high product quality and store presentation.

Starting pay is $18.30 per hour (or based on experience). You must be able to work evenings and weekends, lift up to 70 lbs, and pass a criminal history review. Prior retail or paint-related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal to Sherwin-Williams: must have a “meets expectations” rating.
• If internal to Sherwin-Williams, completion of HR Cloud eLearning courses.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
• Comply with inventory control procedures
• Suggest ways to improve sales
