Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a part-time Color Mixer Specialist at Store #703945 in Robbinsdale, MN. You will tint and mix products to customer specifications, assist in sales, and maintain displays while delivering strong customer service.

Responsibilities include preparing paint orders, handling transactions, stocking shelves, and supporting deliveries. Candidates should be 18+, legally eligible to work, and able to lift up to 70 lbs. Bilingual skills (Spanish) are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
• Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
• Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• If internal to Sherwin-Williams, you must have received at least a "meets expectations" rating on your most recent performance appraisal.
• If internal to Sherwin-Williams, you must have completed all HR Cloud eLearning courses required for your current position.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Experience in delivery, retail, or customer service positions.
• Previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products.
• Previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customers' paint orders quickly and accurately.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Preparing drawdowns for submittal to customers.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Process sales transactions accurately and in line with policies.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition in assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
• Suggest ways to improve sales.
