Job summary

Resurgens Fayette Surgery Center is seeking a Part Time PACU RN to provide continuity and quality nursing care for patients emerging from anesthesia, with vigilant assessment and discharge planning.

Qualified candidates hold an active RN license in Georgia, BLS/ACLS, and have PACU or critical care experience. The role supports physicians in procedure rooms and emphasizes safety, comfort, and privacy for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS required, PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients with continual evaluation of condition.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort and privacy throughout the perioperative period.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with sedation and sterile techniques as needed.
• Deliver total comprehensive care to patients emerging from anesthesia and discharge planning.
