Job summary

The Athens Orthopedic Clinic Ambulatory Surgery Center in Loganville, GA, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Pre-op and PACU areas. You will support anesthesia, assess patients, manage airways and pain, and plan discharge in a collaborative ASC environment.

The successful candidate will be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with GA RN licensure, BLS/ACLS current, and prefer PALS certification plus PACU or critical care experience. Join our cohesive team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing.
• Current licensure as Registered Nurse by the Georgia Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS and ACLS required.
• PALS certification preferred.
• One year PACU or critical Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of patients for surgery.
• Assisting anesthesia for blocks
• Completion of all patient assessment using appropriate nursing clinical knowledge and skills.
• Maintenance of airway and pain management of patients
• Discharge planning for patients.

Education

Graduate of accredited School of Nursing

Current licensure as Registered Nurse by the Georgia Board of Nursing

BLS and ACLS required

PALS certification preferred
