Job summary

Resurgens Fayette Surgery Center is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse (PACU RN) for a part-time role in Fayetteville, GA. The RN will provide continuity of care for patients emerging from anesthesia, perform assessments, planning, and discharge preparation, and may assist surgeons in procedure rooms with conscious sedation and sterile techniques.

Qualifications include an accredited RN education, active Georgia RN license, BLS/ACLS (PALS as needed), and 2 years PACU/ICU experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and sterile techniques as deemed appropriate.
