Job summary

Denville Surgery Center in New Jersey is hiring a part-time PACU Registered Nurse to join our perioperative team. You will provide quality patient care in the PACU using the nursing process and follow the medical plan of care while supporting patient-family centered care.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current NJ RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, and a minimum of two years in Pre-Op/PACU.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current New Jersey Nursing License.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pre-Op/PACU.
• Ambulatory surgical setting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic technique.
• Ability to care for patients across age groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in PACU using nursing process.
• Follow medical plan of care and organizational policies.
• Support patient-family centered care and teamwork.
