Job summary

Resurgens Fayette Surgery Center is seeking a Pre-OP PACU RN for a full-time role in Fayetteville, GA. You will care for patients recovering from anesthesia, monitor progress, and support discharge planning.

Requirements include GA RN license, BLS and ACLS; PALS if required by center. Two years in PACU/ICU preferred, with strong communication and clinical judgment. Collaborative team environment with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• RN license in Georgia; accredited RN program completed.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by center.
• 2 years PACU or Critical Care experience preferred.
• Ability to exercise nursing judgment and prioritize workload.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients emerging from general anesthesia or sedation, with assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks, conscious sedation, and sterile technique.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy and support discharge planning.

PACU Registered Nurse (PACU RN) at Resurgens Fayette Surgery Center The PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
