Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Packaging Technician for its Stamford, CT operations in the Packaging Development Department, supporting Packaging Engineers, Testing Engineers, and cross-functional product development teams. The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong organizational and documentation skills, and collaboration with suppliers and engineers.

The position is part-time (32 hours per week) with no Fridays planned and potential start as early as December.

Qualifications

• Previous packaging experience is required.
• Experience supporting package testing, validation, or product development activities.
• Ability to work effectively with suppliers, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong documentation, organization, and project coordination skills.
• Experience within consumer products, personal care, beauty, household products, or related industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in testing package components, materials, and packaging systems.
• Support Packaging Engineers and suppliers in driving packaging projects to completion.
• Assist with the design and development of packaging components for new and existing products.
• Create and maintain package testing plans and documentation.
• Support sustainability initiatives and product benchmarking studies by gathering and analyzing packaging data.
