Job summary

Keystone Bluffs in Duluth, MN is seeking a Part-Time Nursing Assistant (TMA) to support residents during the 10:00pm–6:00am shift. You will follow medication policies, document care, and monitor residents under supervision.

Applicants must complete a Minnesota approved CNA training, be listed on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry, and be able to lift 50 lbs. Prior TMA experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Completion of a standardized medication administration training program for unlicensed personnel in nursing homes through a Minnesota postsecondary educational institution.
• Current certification and listing on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.
• All applicants must be 18 years of age or older; exception for under 18 with a valid CNA license.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments according to the facility’s medication policy.
• Record and restock medication inventories, and process discontinued medications as directed by the DON.
• Measure and record vital signs including pulse, temperature, and blood pressure.
• Observe resident behavior and report changes to supervisor.
• Complete necessary forms and reports in a descriptive manner and submit them as necessary.
• Report errors in the administration of medications.
• Review and follow a written care plan.
• Assist with caring for residents when needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments according to the facility’s medication policy
• Record and restock medication inventories, and process discontinued medication as directed by DON
• Measure and record vital signs including pulse, temperature, and blood pressure.
• Observe resident behavior and report any changes in condition or behavior to supervisor.
• Complete necessary forms, charts, reports, etc. in a descriptive manner, and submit them as necessary
• Report errors in the administration of medications
• Review and follow a written care plan.
• Assist with caring for residents when needed
• Perform other duties as requested

Qualifications

• All applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be eligible for consideration. Exception: Individuals under the age of 18 may be considered only if they possess a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license, in accordance with applicable regulations.
