Job summary

Barber Station Assisted Living and Memory Care is seeking a Part-Time Medication Aide to support residents with medication administration during 10PM-6AM shifts. You will follow state regulations and document accurately in medication records, while coordinating with Wellness staff.

Ideal candidates will have completion of medication assistance training, maintain current certification, and demonstrate compassion, clear communication, and teamwork in a busy caregiving environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum state regulatory training for medication assistance.
• Maintains up-to-date medication certification as required by state regulations.
• Compassionate and empathetic in personal interactions.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Self-supervising, self-motivating; able to collaborate and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments to residents as directed.
• Observes effects and documents outcomes in records.
• Communicates concerns or observations with Wellness Director or designated personnel.
• Supports residents with activities of daily living including personal hygiene and socialization.
• Encourages resident independence and preserves dignity through professional conduct.
