Job summary

Pleasant Point Senior Living is seeking a Part-time 3rd shift Medication Aide to administer medications and support residents during the night shift. You will observe residents, document findings, and communicate with the Wellness Director as needed.

The role includes assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and maintaining resident dignity through compassionate care and professional interactions.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of medication assistance training in compliance with state requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date medication certification requirements per state regulations.
• Compassionate and empathetic in personal interactions.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Self-supervising and willing to collaborate as a team member.
• Adaptable, highly organized with ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments to residents per state regulations.
• Observes residents taking medications and notes effects or adverse events; documents in medication records.
• Communicates concerns or observations with Wellness Director or designated personnel.
• Supports residents with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition and physical health.
• Encourages resident independence and preserves dignity through professional conduct.
