Job summary

Presbyterian Senior Living is seeking an Assisted Living Medication Aide for a part-time evening shift (2pm-10pm) with rotating weekends and holidays. The role distributes medications, supports daily living tasks, and fosters residents’ well-being within a caring household environment.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 18, complete medication training, and demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and customer-service skills.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older unless active on the Nurse Aide registry (in state).
• High school diploma/equivalent required unless active on the Nurse Aide registry.
• Must be able to successfully complete required medication training.
• Must possess the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication skills; excellent customer service.
• Previous experience with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Distribute medications and treatments to residents.
• Provide general caregiver duties to meet daily resident needs.
• Promote residents' psychosocial well-being through relationships.
• Plan and facilitate social activities for residents.
• Support household homemaker in maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Assist with residents' personal laundry.
