Commonwealth Hotels is seeking a Part-time Overnight Hotel Guest Service Agent at Homewood Suites Mobile Daphne. The role covers overnight front desk duties, guest check-in/check-out, reservations management, and delivering exceptional service to guests near Mobile International Airport.

The ideal candidate has hospitality or front desk experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while following hotel policies and security procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer-facing roles is often required or preferred.
• Familiarity with reservation or PMS systems; training may be provided for specific systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience handling guest complaints or resolving conflicts calmly and effectively.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, such as answering phones, handling reservations, and assisting guests simultaneously.
• Hospitality or Front Desk experience preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in irregular hours (evenings, weekends, or holidays) demonstrates adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Guest check-in and check-out: assist guests efficiently, ensuring a welcoming experience.
• Reservations management: handle room reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately.
• Customer service: respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and requests.
• Payment processing: manage room charges, deposits, and refunds with accuracy.
• Coordinate with housekeeping/maintenance to address guest needs and resolve issues.
