Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized nursing assistant program and in good standing with the Minnesota NA/registry; or completion of orientation and training for unlicensed personnel.
• Experience in health care or geriatrics is desirable but not required.
• Must be dependable, punctual and have good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal cares (dressing, grooming, bathing, oral care) and hygiene.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and use of assistive devices.
• Provide medication reminders or administration as delegated by RN.
• Prepare meals and record vital signs as instructed.
• Observe residents and report changes to RN or LPN.
• Support life enrichment activities and social interaction.
• Document services and complete required paperwork per agency policies.
