Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized nursing assistant program and in good standing with the Minnesota NA/registry; or completion of orientation and training program.
• Experience: None, but health care or geriatric experience is desirable.
• Must be able to meet physical demands and work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal cares as identified in the care plan.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and use of assistive devices.
• Provide medication reminders or administrations as delegated by RN.
• Prepare meals following dietary instructions and document vital signs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and homelike environment for residents.
