Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Downtown Medical Group's Sleep and Respiratory Suite. You will deliver general nursing care in an outpatient setting, coordinate with the physician and pulmonary team, and educate patients and families on health status and disease management.

The role requires clinic experience, an active RN license, BLS or ACLS, and is 30 hours per week, on-site in Billings, Montana.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board.
• BLS or ACLS certification required.
• One year of clinic or acute hospital nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general nursing care following established standards.
• Obtain consent and ensure patient confidentiality.
• Document health history, vital signs, and health risk factors.
• Provide care per guidelines and standards; administer meds and treatments.
• Refer to physicians and other providers to address concerns.
• Educate patients and families on health status and management.
• Document data in medical records and automate as needed.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve care.
• Track quality assurance data and monitor care management.
