Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency in Austell, GA is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) with outpatient neuro experience to provide patient-centered care in an outpatient setting.

You will assess patients, develop treatment plans to improve activities of daily living, mobility, cognition, strength, and coordination; document evaluations and discharge plans; and collaborate with families, staff, and physicians to ensure seamless care and successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensure as an Occupational Therapist and BLS certification.
• Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop individualized treatment plans to improve activities of daily living, mobility, cognition, strength, and coordination.
• Implement and adjust therapy interventions, educate patients and families, and provide discharge instructions and referrals.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge plans according to departmental standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain confidentiality and ethical practices.
• Foster a positive environment through excellent customer service and effective communication, applying AIDET principles.
• Participate in professional development, mandatory training, and team collaboration.
• Adhere to all organizational policies, including infection prevention and safety protocols.
