Job summary

Live Well Homecare in Georgia seeks a Part-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) with outpatient neuro experience to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient setting. You will assess patients, develop individualized plans to improve daily living activities, mobility, cognition, strength and coordination, and implement therapy while educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Occupational Therapy
• Licensure as an Occupational Therapist and BLS certification
• Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork and basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop individualized treatment plans to improve daily living activities, mobility, cognition, strength and coordination.
• Implement and adjust therapy interventions, educate patients and families, and provide discharge instructions and referrals.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions and discharge plans according to departmental standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain confidentiality and ethical practices.
• Foster a positive environment through excellent customer service and applying AIDET principles.
