Job summary

A. Duie Pyle in Buffalo, NY is seeking a part-time Outbound Dockworker to safely load and unload freight, verify documentation, and support dock operations.

The role requires forklift experience preferred, an ability to read and follow safety rules, and a customer-service mindset. Weekly pay, a competitive starting wage of $21.75 per hour with a raise to $22.75 after 12 months, and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior forklift experience preferred.
• Prior experience in warehousing, freight, and/or logistics preferred.
• Ability to safely operate equipment and follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight on trailers using forklift or electric pallet jack.
• Pick, stage, and secure freight inside trailers for safe transport.
• Use the document management system to track freight locations throughout the terminal.
• Communicate with terminal personnel and drivers.
• Maintain a flexible schedule including day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Demonstrate a customer service first mentality.
