Job summary

A. Duie Pyle, Inc. in Altoona, PA is seeking a Part-time Outbound Dockworker to safely load and unload freight, verify paperwork, and support warehouse operations.

Prior forklift experience is preferred and English communication is essential. Responsibilities include loading/unloading freight with forklift or pallet jack, staging and securing cargo, tracking shipments, and coordinating with drivers. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift or material handling experience preferred.
• Experience in warehousing, freight, or logistics preferred.
• English reading/writing/speaking ability required.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading freight on trailers using appropriate equipment – forklift or electric pallet jack
• Picking, staging, and securing freight inside trailers to insure safe transport
• Utilizing document management system to track and monitor freight shipment locations throughout the terminal
• Communicating with terminal personnel and drivers
• Maintain a flexible schedule, including but not limited to day and night shifts, weekends and or holiday work
• Operating with a customer service first mentality
