Job summary

Uintah Basin Rehabilitation and Senior Villa in Roosevelt, UT is seeking a Part-Time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our compassionate care team. You will support residents with evaluations, therapy plans, and daily living activities.

This role requires an OTA degree, an active license, and strong communication and teamwork. Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is preferred, and we value resident-centered care and collaborative treatment to help residents maintain

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license/certification.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist with resident evaluations and treatment plans
• Help residents improve strength, mobility, coordination, and daily living skills
• Teach residents how to use adaptive equipment and assistive devices
• Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the therapy team
• Document treatments, progress, and outcomes accurately
• Provide encouragement and support to residents and their families
