Job summary

HCRC consulting is urgently hiring a compassionate Orthopedist and/or Orthopedic Surgeon for part-time coverage in the Greater Baltimore region. The incoming provider will work 3-4 days per week across three locations: Catonsville, Glen Burnie, and North Howard County, with coverage once per week at each site and potential for a 4th day if willing to commute to Elkton.

The ideal candidate has an MD or DO, Board Certified/Eligible in Orthopedics, an unrestricted Maryland license, and a favorable

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Orthopedics/Orthopedic Surgery.
• Unrestricted Maryland medical license.
• Favorable malpractice history.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial medical evaluations and follow-up visits
• Recommend and interpret diagnostic tests to determine injury and treatment
• Order diagnostic labs and imaging
• Oversee diagnosis and treatment plans
• Assist patients with return-to-work evaluations following injury or illness
• Complete accurate and timely documentation
• Refer patients to in-house therapies and specialists as appropriate
• Collaborate with colleagues and staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
