Job summary

dentsu seeks a compassionate Orthopedist and/or Orthopedic Surgeon for Elkton, MD, on a part-time basis, one day per week, with an hourly rate of $200–$250. Work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team focused on exceptional patient care.

The ideal candidate will have an MD or DO, board certification/eligibility in Orthopedics, and an unrestricted Maryland medical license. No call and no weekends are required for this role.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Orthopedics/Orthopedic Surgery.
• Unrestricted Maryland medical license.
• Favorable malpractice history.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial medical evaluations and follow-up visits
• Recommend and interpret diagnostic testing to determine extent of injury and appropriate treatment plans
• Order diagnostic labs and imaging
• Oversee patient diagnosis and treatment plans
• Assist patients with return-to-work evaluations following injury or illness
• Complete accurate and timely documentation
• Refer patients to in-house therapies and specialists as appropriate
• Collaborate with colleagues and staff to ensure comprehensive patient care

Education
