Job summary

ORTHOPEDIST/ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON in Elkton, MD is a part-time opportunity: one day per week, with compensation of $200 to $250 per hour. This role invites a compassionate clinician to join our growing medical practice and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering exceptional patient care in a community setting.

You will perform initial evaluations, order tests, interpret results, and manage treatment plans while maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Orthopedics/Orthopedic Surgery.
• Unrestricted Maryland medical license.
• Favorable malpractice history.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial medical evaluations and follow-up visits
• Recommend and interpret diagnostic testing to determine extent of injury and appropriate treatment plans
• Order diagnostic labs and imaging
• Oversee patient diagnosis and treatment plans
• Assist patients with return-to-work evaluations following injury or illness
• Complete accurate and timely documentation
• Refer patients to in-house therapies and specialists as appropriate
• Collaborate with colleagues and staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
